August 4th is the traditional Chinese festival “Qixi”. On that day, a hutong called “Lianxin” in Zhengzhou welcomed many newlyweds who had just received their marriage certificates to punch in and take pictures. At the end of this alley is the Civil Affairs Bureau. Many newcomers walk this road hand in hand to celebrate the transition from love to marriage.
