On September 3, the 2022 China Frontiers of Medicine Forum, jointly organized by the National Geriatrics Center of Beijing Hospital, the China Organ Transplantation Development Foundation, and the Chinese Journal of Medical Frontiers (Electronic Edition), was held in Beijing .
In accordance with the relevant requirements of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of Vision 2035 and the Outline of the “Healthy China 2030” Plan, in order to promote the development of frontier medical disciplines in China , to improve the medical academic level and clinical practice ability. The theme of this forum is “continuously breaking through the frontier of medicine and committing to the development of a healthy China”.
The chairman of the conference is jointly served by President Ji Fusui of Beijing Hospital and Academician Ning Guang, President of Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and invited Deputy Director Gu Jinhui of the Department of Science and Education of the National Health Commission, Guo Yanhong, Inspector of the Medical Administration and Hospital Administration, Sun Ruijuan, Executive Deputy Director of the Medical Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Wang Xuening, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Health Publishing House, Academician Wang Chen, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Huang Jiefu of the Chinese Human Organ Donation and Transplantation Committee The chairman delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Academician Liu Depei, Academician Cheng Jing, Academician Ning Guang, Academician Han Yaling, Academician Wu Tangchun and Academician Dou Kefeng and other well-known medical experts and the Lancet Asia Pacific Editor-in-Chief attended the meeting and made a report. The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Professor Zhang Xuan, Vice President of Beijing Hospital. Zhao Hongtao, chairman of the China Organ Transplantation Development Foundation, and Yao Deming, vice president of Beijing Hospital, presided over the forum’s launching ceremony and keynote report respectively.

Academician Cheng Jing, Academician Liu Depei, Academician Wu Tangchun, Academician Ning Guang and Academician Dou Kefeng gave lectures on the topics of “Technological Innovation, Emphasis on Chinese and Western”, “Four Layers of Aging and Its Interaction”, “Disease Etiology Research and Prevention and Control Countermeasures”, “Artificial Intelligence Empowers Diabetes Management”, “Xenotransplantation Basics and Clinicals” keynote reports.
Academician Cheng Jing introduced the cutting-edge research on international biochips in detail, and combined with the national conditions, he used his team’s latest development of the domestically urgently needed pathogenic microorganism nucleic acid detection chip technology system and the artificial intelligence aided by his own leadership. Taking the traditional Chinese medicine eye diagnostic instrument as an example, he introduced the importance of biomedical engineering technology innovation.
The report of Academician Liu Depei brilliantly explained how the four levels of aging constitute a cascade reaction. The transmission and presentation of life information in the four levels is the commonality of the occurrence and development of different diseases. Will help people better understand aging from the perspective of analyzing causality.
Academician Wu Tangchun emphasized the importance of the development of public health disciplines and public health undertakings from the needs of the country.
Academician Ning Guang introduced the project of the National Standardized Metabolic Disease Management Center to everyone in detail, and proposed that it can provide innovative and better solutions for metabolic diseases.
Academician Dou Kefeng’s report pointed out that we should continue to strengthen technical research in the field of xenotransplantation, enhance my country’s international competitiveness, and address major human health needs.
2022 China Medical Frontier Forum will launch four sub-forums at the same time, namely “Frontier Intersection and Biotherapy”, “Frontier Advances in Cardiovascular and Endocrinology”, “Frontier Medical Innovation and Transformation”, “Organ Transplantation and Regeneration” Medicine”, which shows the development of the frontier of medicine from multiple perspectives and dimensions, and invites academician Han Yaling, academician Wu Tangchun and many other well-known domestic experts and scholars in the medical field to focus on biological treatment, infection and immunity, medical-engineering intersection, clinical transformation, organ transplantation and In-depth discussions on frontier hot topics in medicine such as regenerative medicine.
This forum is held in strict accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, and is held in the form of a combination of online and offline.
