Li Yilei presided over the conference

Li Yilei, director of the Department of Pharmacy, Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University, presided over the conference. She was concerned about the use of drugs for special populations, especially drugs for rare diseases. She introduced that rare disease drugs have few applicable populations, low market demand, and few R&D and production enterprises. Some of them need to be imported from abroad, which takes a long time and has a limited shelf life. Medical institutions are worried about the expiration date and are reluctant to reserve them. Patients often face finding Difficulty in getting medicine.
