The Ministry of Water Resources has recently issued the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Water Conservancy Scenic Areas”, which proposes to promote the overall improvement of the development quality of water conservancy scenic areas, build a number of distinctive national water conservancy scenic areas, and improve water conservancy scenic areas. The guiding opinions put forward that by 2025, the overall layout of water conservancy scenic spots will be further improved, the management system of water conservancy scenic spots will be established and perfected, and the supervision capacity will be significantly improved; during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, more than 100 national water conservancy Scenic areas, promote 50 typical cases of high-quality water conservancy scenic spots, and improve the overall development quality of water conservancy scenic spots.
