On August 28, there were 301 new local confirmed cases and 1,255 local asymptomatic infections across the country.

In the new cases yesterday, Tibet, Sichuan and Hainan provinces ranked the top three, with 594, 248 and 132 cases respectively. In the latest round of local epidemics, infected people have appeared in 31 provinces across the country, and the epidemic has spread to multiple points.

As of 14:00 today, there are 1444 and 1348 high school risk areas across the country (inland areas), and only 6 provinces of Jilin, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Ningxia have no high school risk areas.

At present, the epidemic situation in Tibet and Hainan has been brought under control; the number of new cases in Sichuan Province has exceeded 100 for two consecutive days, the epidemic situation in Chengdu is on the rise, and there are many epidemics in Neijiang, Mianyang and other provinces; Many districts in Shijiazhuang, Hebei work from home, and the subway stops operating; Dalian requires N95 masks to be worn on public transportation; and Wuchang District, Wuhan City has launched a rainbow-colored nucleic acid test card.

The only Ningxia with a small red flag has 5 asymptomatic infections as of 24:00 on the 28th/Baidu APP

The epidemic in Chengdu is rapidly rising,

Same origin as Tibet

After experiencing high temperatures and power outages, Chengdu residents found that the epidemic has “come back”.

12 positive cases were reported on the 25th, 28 positive cases on the 26th, 47 positive cases on the 27th, and 134 positive cases on the 28th…

“At present, the epidemic is in the stage of rapid rise, and the social activities of the cases are extensive. It has involved public places in several districts (cities) and counties in Chengdu, and the risk of the spread of the epidemic is relatively high.” At the press conference on the new crown epidemic in Chengdu yesterday, Yang Xiaoguang, deputy secretary-general of the municipal government and director of the Municipal Health Commission, said.

According to the information of the current epidemic, many cases in this epidemic have visited Lantu Fitness Constant Temperature Swimming Pool in Jinjiang District and the Ocean Paradise Water World of Global Center in High-tech Zone. Traffic in both places.

Nucleic acid testing site/released in Chengdu

Chengdu City, focusing on Jinjiang District, conducted two rounds of nucleic acid testing for all regional staff on August 27th and 28th. Other districts (cities) and counties are also carrying out tests based on the trajectory of case activity. Nucleic acid testing in key areas will be expanded and screened.

‍From 18:00 on August 27th, if you leave Chengdu, you must provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.

The gene sequencing results of the completed cases in Chengdu are all Omicron variant BA.2.76. BA.2.76 was reported for the first time in my country’s Tibet epidemic. Since then, the epidemic in Tibet has spilled over to at least 12 provinces.

According to incomplete statistics of the “medical community”:

On August 10, Ningqiang, Shaanxi Province returned from Lhasa with abnormal nucleic acid, and Shiyan City, Hubei Province found that members of the tour group to Tibet had positive infections.

On August 13, a number of infected people related to Lhasa were found in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, Chongqing, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and Tongren City, Huangnan Prefecture, Qinghai.

On August 14, a number of nucleic acid-positive persons with a history of living in Tibet were found in Minhou County of Fuzhou City, Xianyou County of Putian City, Shaxian City of Sanming City, and Xiamen City.

On August 19, Dalian City, Liaoning Province reported abnormal nucleic acid test results for 5 tourists who were traveling by car in Tibet.

On August 27, Shijiazhuang City announced the gene sequencing results of the new coronavirus epidemic, which was Omicron BA.2.76, which is highly homologous to the Tibetan strain.

Why did the Tibet epidemic cause such a serious spillover?

Wuhan University epidemiology and health statistics professor Yu Chuanhua said in an interview with the “People’s Daily Health Client” that August is the peak tourist season, and the floating population has increased; The Keron strain spreads quickly, with strong infectivity and insidious transmission. The medical conditions in Tibet are relatively weak, and when it was discovered, it has already caused the spread of the local community.

A total of 100 cadres in Tibet were dismissed or held accountable due to poor epidemic prevention and control. “Tibet Daily” reported on August 28 that Zhang Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Lhasa Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Chengguan District Party Committee, was dismissed.

Earlier, Tibet held accountable 22 cadres including the secretary and director of the Lhasa Municipal Health and Health Commission, and the secretary of the Party branch of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and 77 in Shigatse were in the process of epidemic prevention and control. Cadres with floating style and dereliction of duty will be held accountable,10 of them were dismissed.

Today, there is good news from Tibet, and Lhasa has basically achieved social zero. Shigatse City is speeding up the construction of square cabins, which is expected to add 3,800 beds.

Tightening of epidemic prevention and control measures in various places

In order to eliminate the local epidemic as soon as possible, local governments have adopted different epidemic prevention policies.

This morning, Dalian’s epidemic prevention and control appeared on Weibo’s hot search, and most of the topics were complaints from local residents: “I sent a notice in the middle of the night, and the sky has changed in the morning.” “Today’s office Those who need the bus and subway to work are basically late.”

At 0:53 a.m. today, the “Dalian Release” notice will significantly extend the departure interval: buses run every 30 minutes during peak hours and 2 hours during off-peak hours; some subway lines will be extended to 40 minutes above.

Dalian also stipulates that passengers must wear N95 or above masks when taking rail transit. This is the second city to take this measure after Changchun on July 16.

In addition, Dalian City will carry out nationwide nucleic acid screening on August 28. Those who refuse to cooperate with this city-wide nucleic acid screening without justifiable reasons will be subject to “Liao Shi Tong” Health code” is assigned “yellow code”, which is listed on the list of dishonest persons according to law and announced in the media.

Dalian issued a new announcement at 5:00 pm today, advocating reducing the flow of people. And from tomorrow to September 3, the main urban area will be strictly controlled. In principle, each resident can arrange at most one resident to go out once a day, and it is recommended to wear N95 masks.

On August 28, 31 new positive infections were reported in Tianjin, of which 30 were found during screening, and only 1 was found by active medical screening. Last night (August 28), Tianjin arranged a new round of nucleic acid testing for all employees. All people living in Tianjin should remain relatively still in their place of residence before sampling, and can go to work or school after sampling.

The third round of nucleic acid screening in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province detected 30 positive infections. From 15:00 on the 28th, all bus lines in Shijiazhuang will stop operating. In line with the suspension of public transport, all employees in Qiaoxi District and other key areas will work from home and units will be closed to minimize the flow of people.

In order to prevent problems before they occur, Sanhe City, Hebei Province implements nucleic acid once a week, alternating between men and women.

Besides Hebei, Tianjin, and Liaoning, Wuhan, Hubei has accumulated 52 new asymptomatic infections within 5 days since August 24. Starting tomorrow, the frequency of nucleic acid testing in Wuhan will be changed from “one test every five days” to “one test every two days”, and a gray code will be assigned if no nucleic acid test is performed within 48 hours.

Wuchang District launched a rainbow-colored nucleic acid test card (Monday red, Tuesday orange, Wednesday yellow, Thursday green, Friday cyan, Saturday blue, Sunday purple), every day with healthy green code and nucleic acid detection cards.
