It is reported that the Hebei Hospital of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University is the second batch of pilot projects for national regional medical centers implemented by the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Health Commission and other relevant departments during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period. The specific measures of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy are of great significance for optimizing the allocation of regional medical resources and reducing the outflow of patients from Hebei.
Xuanwu Hospital Hebei Hospital was officially approved in June 2021, with Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University as the output hospital and the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University as the supporting hospital to jointly build the National Neurological Regional Medical Center. The hospital mainly conducts consultations for difficult cases of neurological diseases, including spinal cord diseases, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, movement disorders, sleep disorders, peripheral neuromuscular diseases, congenital intellectual developmental disorders, etc., as well as various nervous system infections, inflammations sexual diseases.
Ding Yan, director of the Neurological Disease Consultation Center of Hebei Hospital of Xuanwu Hospital, said, “This center has the characteristics of high positioning, strong strength and new model. Through offline, online, online and offline communication Combining three methods to carry out comprehensive consultation, special disease consultation, and special consultation, to further improve the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and rare diseases of the nervous system and critically ill patients in Hebei Province, meet the needs of nearby patients in Hebei and surrounding areas for diagnosis and treatment, and narrow the gap between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
