Common sleep disorders can be divided into two categories: insufficient quantity and insufficient quality.

1. Insufficient amount. The most common one is insomnia. The harm of insomnia to the human body is mainly mental, making people short-tempered, aggressive, and memory loss. Long-term insomnia will also reduce people’s immunity and increase the risk of organic diseases. The causes of insomnia mainly include pathological, physiological and environmental influences. The direct factor affecting sleep is the secretion of melatonin in the body. The regulation of “light”, “environmental temperature” and “diet” is the main factor affecting the secretion of melatonin. The reason is to pay attention to exposure to sunlight during the day and increase physical exercise, which will help to improve the quality of sleep at night. 2. Insufficient quality. The most common one is snoring during sleep, and in severe cases, repeated apnea occurs during sleep, that is, “sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome”. This disease can cause repeated intermittent hypoxia due to insufficient ventilation during sleep, which is extremely harmful to the human body.
