In recent years, the incidence of breast cancer and cervical cancer in my country has gradually increased, and “two cancers” have become the biggest killers that seriously threaten women’s health. Caring for women’s health needs to start from the prevention and treatment of “two cancers”, and early examination, early diagnosis and early treatment should be achieved. In order to protect the health rights and interests of rural women, the Women’s Federation of Mamiao Town, Huaining, has recently been actively visiting villages to publicize the “two cancers” screening activities for rural women.
The free screening population is for married women aged 35-64. In order to ensure that the screening work is completed with high quality and quantity, the members of the Women’s Federation of Mamiao Town posted publicity materials at the main entrances and exits of the area to publicize the knowledge of women’s “two cancers” prevention and treatment, stress the importance of “two cancers” screening, and voluntarily apply for participation. Screened women are registered on-site, informing them of free screening at a designated location at a specified time and what to watch out for on the day of screening.
Mamiao Town Women’s Federation actively publicized the importance and necessity of “two cancers” screening and women’s disease census, and further enhanced rural women’s awareness of disease prevention and treatment through the publicity of “two cancers” free screening activities.
