From 0-24:00 on August 7, Guangdong added 37 new local confirmed cases (4 in Guangzhou, 26 in Zhanjiang, and 7 in Maoming); 6 new local asymptomatic infections (1 in Guangzhou, 1 in Zhuhai) 1 case in Shantou and 3 cases in Zhanjiang). There were 16 newly imported confirmed cases in the province (2 in Guangzhou, 13 in Shenzhen, and 1 in Zhuhai); 12 newly imported asymptomatic infections (1 in Guangzhou, 3 in Shenzhen, 1 in Zhuhai, and 3 in Foshan) , 1 case in Huizhou, 3 cases in Dongguan); another 2 cases of imported asymptomatic infections were transferred to confirmed cases (1 case in Guangzhou and 1 case in Shenzhen).
