From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 9th, Beijing added 13 new local confirmed cases (including 2 cases of asymptomatic infections diagnosed on October 8th who were transferred to confirmed cases, 8 of which have been confirmed reported) and 3 asymptomatic infections (all reported), no new suspected cases; 5 newly imported confirmed cases (including 2 asymptomatic infections transferred to confirmed cases) and 2 asymptomatic infections, no new confirmed cases New suspected cases. 2 cases were cured and discharged, and 6 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation.

Confirmed case 2: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany via France on October 6, and was sent to a centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. A confirmed case was diagnosed on October 9.
Confirmed case 3: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from the UK via France on October 8, and was sent to a centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. A confirmed case was diagnosed on October 9.
Confirmed case 4: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Ireland via Germany on October 6, and was sent to a centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. Diagnosed as asymptomatic infection on October 8, A confirmed case was diagnosed on October 9.
Confirmed case 5: Taiwanese, China, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Taiwan, China on October 7, and was sent to a centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. He was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infection on October 8. A confirmed case was diagnosed on October 9.
The above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been carried out, and control measures have been implemented as required.
