Recently, the Office of the National Health and Health Commission’s Brain Prevention Committee has conducted a comprehensive ranking and special technical ranking of 584 senior stroke centers (including construction units) across the country based on the stroke center work data reported by the national senior stroke centers in March 2022. Among them, the Stroke Center of Yongchuan Hospital Affiliated to Chongyi Medicine ranked 40th in the country in the comprehensive ranking of special technologies for emergency interventional recanalization, ranking second in the city.
The Stroke Center of Yongchuan Hospital Affiliated to Chongyi Medicine started construction in January 2017. The center is headed by President Gong Fang, covering emergency department, neurology, neurosurgery, ICU, thoracic and cardiac surgery, interventional department, laboratory department, imaging department, etc.
The center has routinely, maturely and independently carried out emergency endovascular treatment, intracranial and extracranial angioplasty and stent implantation, carotid endarterectomy and other core operations. Carrying out a number of characteristic medical treatments throughout the year, including: the first 3D-GAMA technology developed and reported in the world, the first in the country to introduce Rapid software for artificial intelligence diagnosis of stroke, the first in the southwest region, and the all-round construction of “seamless” stroke Green channel, the first application of Blend Sign/Black hole sign/Island sign to predict the expansion of hematoma in the early stage of cerebral hemorrhage, and the operation volume of patent foramen ovale closure under the guidance of transesophageal ultrasound ranks first in Southwest China.
The center construction experience won the theme of “Top Ten Value Cases” and “Top Ten Popular Cases” in the National Hospital Tournament Finals. He has made more than 80 experience sharing sessions and more than 200 academic reports in 15 provinces, cities and regions across the country, and has received visits from 46 brother units. It has entered the top 100 neurology list of Chinese hospitals for scientific and technological value twice, ranked second in Chongqing in 2017, and ranked third in Chongqing in 2020. Won the first prize of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress. Dr. Zhao Libo won the “Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert Award of the National Brain Defense Committee”.
