At yesterday’s press conference on the prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic in Shanghai, Zhao Dandan, deputy director of the Municipal Health Commission, said that he will continue to raise forces through multi-party coordination, such as Internet hospitals to carry out medical dispensing, and communities to arrange special vehicles . The transportation department has launched cruising taxis, recruited volunteers to drive “love cars” and other forms to form a transfer team to provide convenience for medical treatment, relieve the contradiction between supply and demand for ordinary medical treatment, and leave emergency resources to citizens who really need it.
During the lockdown period, public transportation is basically suspended. Going to the hospital is likely to be a problem. Some of the medical and dispensing needs can be met through Internet hospitals, online pharmacies, etc., but there will always be some needs that must be solved by visiting the hospital. This requires further exploration of resources and smooth access to medical treatment, so that citizens in need no longer worry about how to go to the hospital.
For example, starting from April 18, Shanghai launched a medical insurance cruise taxi for citizens to use for general medical treatment and discharge. Some citizens were unable to go out and seek medical treatment because of the blockade and control of the community. This problem has finally been solved. According to the suggestions of citizens, this capacity can be further increased; related policies and procedures also need to be more transparent, so that grassroots and residents can know more about this service, know how to apply, and continue to optimize the process in practice. At the same time, the needs of drivers for food, lodging, rest, etc. are fully guaranteed, so that they can provide services to the public with peace of mind.
During the current extraordinary period, there is still a large demand for medical treatment in addition to the new crown. At present, 33 emergency medical treatment points have been opened in 36 municipal-level hospitals. Many municipal-level hospitals are gradually expanding the service scale of outpatient clinics, especially specialist outpatient clinics, and organized a number of simple outpatient clinics and volunteer dispensing outpatient clinics. . The traffic problem for medical treatment also needs to continue to mobilize the forces of all parties to resolve it. For example, in Jiading District, in addition to 120 critically ill patients, the District Transportation Committee and various streets and towns are equipped with more than 230 special medical vehicles, accompanied by volunteers. Relieving the contradiction between supply and demand for ordinary medical treatment can also help alleviate the problem of 120 resource shortage to a certain extent.
Life comes first. I hope that the road from the door of the house to the door of the hospital will be smoother and faster.
