Notes on long-term use of aspirin:
First, it will damage the gastric mucosa, and very few patients will develop ulcers. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, over 65 years of age, taking other anticoagulants, suffering from Helicobacter pylori infection, smoking and drinking, can choose aspirin enteric-coated or sustained-release formulations to reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
Second, it will prolong the bleeding time. Such as epistaxis and gum bleeding after coronary stenting; gastrointestinal bleeding; rare cerebral hemorrhage. Therefore, it is necessary to observe regularly and go to the hospital immediately if abnormal bleeding is found.
Third, it will reduce the excretion of uric acid, and low-dose use may induce gout recurrence. Patients with a history of hyperuricemia and gout should be treated aggressively before taking aspirin and monitoring uric acid.
Fourth, if you have symptoms such as dizziness and tinnitus, seek medical attention in time. In addition, during the medication period, it is necessary to monitor the patient’s blood routine, stool routine, uric acid and other indicators.
