What should I do if my child is bullied at school?

I never imagined that school bullying was on my side.

My son was sent to a key high school because of his good grades. In my second year of high school, due to the epidemic, I took online classes at home. Every day when he closed the door, we thought he was studying hard, but we didn’t know he was playing games and didn’t listen to the class at all. Math, physics, and chemistry in high school were already difficult, not to mention that he didn’t listen carefully to the new classes for several months.

When he returned to school in the second half of his second year of high school, his eyes were dark and he couldn’t keep up. It’s a pity that our parents didn’t find out at all: because our son went to school in another city and usually lived on campus, only on weekends we rushed over to reunite at night. By the time we found out, he had closed the door to us.

What’s even more sad is that after the grades dropped, the son was anxious on the one hand and evaded on the other. I was anxious, and used games to escape.

By the third year of high school, his grades dropped to the bottom of the class. Under extreme pressure, he grew into a fat man of more than 180 pounds, his face was covered with acne, and he became depressed. School bullying found him.

A group of classmates who are in urgent need of release due to stress, take pleasure in teasing him every day: sometimes they write out all the answers on his homework, sometimes change the scores on his paper to The full score was announced loudly on the podium, and the rest of the classmates laughed. Don’t think that the school is just a group of simple students, some people are already demons.

Don’t think that teachers in key middle schools are all good teachers. My son unfortunately also became their head teacher, a venting bucket for releasing stress.

Because of grades, the newly arrived head teacher in the third year of high school knew the situation at the time, but he ignored it and even covered it up openly. I know that the bullying of my son by that group of people will all be reported back to them in the future.

Afterwards, my son told me about these things, and I went to ask the teacher, who said lightly that the classmates were joking. I asked my son, “How did you fight back when your classmates bullied you?” He said, “What can I do? I just sit there with my head down and say nothing.”

My heart hurts so much. The precious treasure in my parents’ hands is bullied by them at school. I even want to take up the weapon of the law. But then I backed off. In the second half of the third year of high school, I found a training institution for my son outside and let him leave the school that many people dream of.

It’s been over a year, but my heart still rages and hurts every time I think about these things.

A year later, my son has lost more than 40 pounds, the acne on his face has disappeared, and his smile and optimism are back. When I came back from college vacation, I bought gifts for my mother and brother. We reminisce about his junior high school life in elementary school, but never talk about his high school life.

We will keep going, I think my son will come out slowly, but I can’t.
