What is a capsule?

Capsules refer to the direct encapsulation of a certain amount of liquid APIs, or the preparation of solutions, suspensions, emulsions or semi-solids by dissolving or dispersing solid APIs in suitable excipients. Solid, capsules sealed in soft capsules.

Capsules realize the process of turning liquid medicines into solid medicines, which are easy to transport, carry and use.

Notes when using capsules: usually capsules cannot be taken open, such as allicin enteric capsules, the shell of this capsule is made of special materials, it can cross The stomach dissolves in the intestinal tract, thereby avoiding the stimulation of allicin to the stomach, and at the same time, it can also ensure that allicin is not destroyed by the digestive juice in the stomach and loses its efficacy, so it is called “enteric-coated capsules”. If you open the capsule and take it, it will not only taste uncomfortable, but also reduce the efficacy of the drug and increase side effects.

Therefore, unless it is clearly stipulated in the instructions, or the doctor or pharmacist clearly informs, you cannot open the capsule at will to take it.
