According to the unified arrangement of the Pudong New Area Epidemic Prevention Headquarters, this time the medical team was assigned to 6 public hospitals in Pudong: Eastern Hospital South Hospital, Pudong Hospital, Zhoupu Hospital, Pudong New Area People’s Hospital, Shanghai Seventh People’s Hospital and Punan Hospital.

The medical needs of hemodialysis patients are “urgent”, and they are the “key groups” under the prevention and control of the epidemic.

In the early morning of April 1, the association received a call from the Pudong New Area Epidemic Prevention and Control Office, who requested to urgently recruit volunteers for hemodialysis. On the morning of April 1, the China Association of Non-Public Medical Institutions (hereinafter referred to as the Association) issued the “Notice on Emergency Recruitment of Volunteers for Hemodialysis”.

“We received an official call at 1:00 in the morning to prepare an emergency notification. One hour after the notification was issued at 8:30 in the morning, more than 160 people signed up, and the number of applicants has continued to rise since then.” Executive Vice President of the Association Director and Secretary-General Hao Deming said.

According to the unified deployment, the Association’s Nephrology Dialysis Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “specialized committee”) held an emergency video conference at 10:00 on the same day to implement the recruitment of hemodialysis medical and nursing volunteers, qualification screening, transportation, accommodation and Logistics support and other needs docking matters.

As of 6:00 pm on April 1, 10 hours after the notification, a total of 721 medical staff from 23 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), 160 cities, more than 400 medical institutions, and 721 medical staff volunteered To sign up to become a volunteer for hemodialysis work, there has been an endless stream of sign-up calls.

In the list of registered medical staff, the association carefully selected the first batch of 90 young and middle-aged backbone players, including 58 female players and 32 male players.

Most of them are between 22-42 years old, nurses are basically under 30 years old, and doctors are between 30-40 years old.

Formulate a detailed work flow plan, including volunteer allocation plan, transportation plan, accommodation plan, prevention and control plan, and maintain close communication with the demander to ensure that hemodialysis volunteers are called and ready to fight.
