Liu Meihua, the chief physician of the Women’s Planning Center, explained the causes, treatment methods, self-prevention and other aspects of early screening of “two cancers” for women of school age. Mobilize eligible women to take the initiative to receive “two cancers” screening. The people at the scene said, “I didn’t know about cervical cancer and breast cancer before, and I didn’t do two cancer screenings before. Now the government regularly organizes free screenings. I really appreciate the government’s good policy.”
In the past five years from 2017 to 2021, the County Women’s Planning Center successfully completed the first round of the “two cancers” project, screening a total of 40,000 women of appropriate age Among the remaining people, 16 were diagnosed with cervical cancer, 167 with cervical precancerous lesions, and 18 with breast cancer, which greatly increased the early diagnosis rate of “two cancers”. 2022 is the year when the second round of “two cancers” screening is switched on and off. The county women’s planning center started free screening in March. “Cancer” management system, and implement dedicated personnel to track and follow up people with abnormal screening results in a timely manner.
