On March 11th, Sichuan Tianfu New District Meishan Management Committee and Southwest Medical Department The university held a signing ceremony for jointly building Tianfu Hospital Affiliated to Southwest Medical University. The two parties will cooperate in depth in talent training, discipline construction, scientific research and teaching, and achievement transformation, vigorously promote the coordinated development of medical, teaching, and research, and create a tertiary-grade comprehensive teaching hospital.
According to reports, Tianfu Hospital Affiliated to Southwest Medical University is one of the key livelihood projects in Meishan City. It is designed in accordance with the standard of a tertiary-grade comprehensive teaching hospital. The first phase of the project is to construct the hospital’s outpatient and emergency medical technology building, inpatient building, infectious disease building, administrative office building and other buildings and ancillary facilities. It is expected to be completed and accepted by the end of March 2023. The second phase of the project will build teaching, scientific research buildings and ancillary facilities.
