Why does this reaction occur? The doctor explained that the cold medicine Ms. Zhang was taking, paracetamol, was a compound preparation of acetaminophen and amantadine. Amantadine had antiviral effects, but excessive doses may lead to symptoms such as confusion and hallucinations. .
