Although Xiashantou Village is backed by Yandang Mountain, it is far away from the scenic spot, and there is no mountain to eat. Except for less than 1 mu of arable land per capita, the village has no resources at all. In order to make a living, most young people in the village either go to the city to work or go out to do business. The annual income of the village collective economy is only 2,700 yuan, and the poor are jingle.
The change started 9 years ago, a beautiful and flat ring road leads directly to the entrance of the village, Brand-new garden-style buildings rise from the ground, and there are several built recreational slides on the hillside in the distance. Nearby, there are gurgling streams, rows of ginkgo trees, and a Dendrobium candidum planting base that can’t be seen. The once dilapidated mountain village has now become a big garden.
According to statistics, there are more than 5,000 farmers engaged in the cultivation and deep processing of Dendrobium officinale in the whole village 95% of them are from the village and surrounding villages and returned college students. According to the calculation of one worker processing 0.5 kg of Dendrobium candidum per day, the per capita daily income can reach 200 yuan.
The mode of sharing “shares, rent, and salaries” has changed the villagers’ previous Villagers who go out to do business and work have returned to their hometowns and can find stable jobs at their doorstep.
Since the opening of Tieding Yoyo Park, it has achieved tourism income of more than 60 million yuan. Two-thirds of the employees in the park are from the village and surrounding villagers. The “Three Gold Models” have provided valuable experience of common prosperity for more villages.
Today, the average income of each household in the village is less than 50,000 yuan from 2013 , increased to more than 200,000 yuan today; the village’s collective economic income has increased from 100,000 yuan in 2013 to 15 million yuan today.
Nowadays, people from a radius of ten miles say that the development of Xiashantou Village is like sitting On the rocket, it became a legend of “creating something out of nothing”.
