On the afternoon of April 14, 2022, Gao Zhiming, member of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region Political Consultative Conference, Secretary and Director of the Party Group of the Ethnic and Religious Committee, and his party went to the Justice Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to promote ethnic affairs Special consultation and research on the modernization level of governance system and governance capacity, and a symposium was held. Bai Yongping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Department of Justice, presided over the symposium.

At the meeting, Director Bai Yongping firmly grasped the main line of casting a sense of community of the Chinese nation, strengthened legislation in the national field, and solidly carried out regulations and policies. The six aspects of cleaning up normative documents, strengthening publicity and education on the rule of law, innovating new models of grassroots governance, and building a loyal and clean judicial administrative iron army reported on the strengthening and improvement of ethnic work in the judicial administrative system in the region. The participants exchanged views on upholding and improving the system of regional ethnic autonomy, improving the system of ethnic laws and regulations, and improving the governance of ethnic affairs according to law.

Director Gao Zhiming fully affirmed the highlights and achievements of the Judicial Department of the Autonomous Region in doing well in ethnic work. He pointed out that the Judicial Department of the Autonomous Region attaches great importance to the special consultation work, and has implemented the requirements of building a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation into all aspects and the entire process of judicial administration work. He gave a detailed introduction to the problems raised by the research team, and the positive results achieved by the research work. He hoped to further study specific issues in legislation, law popularization and other aspects, and provide more detailed materials.

Director Bai Yongping said that the survey pointed out the direction for the judicial administration system of the whole district to do a better job. It is hoped that the Ethnic and Religious Committee of the CPPCC of the Autonomous Region will continue to support the judicial administration work and jointly promote the work. The Department of Justice will serve the CPPCC Autonomous Region and promote the modernization of the ethnic affairs governance system and governance capacity in our region.
