Starting from the afternoon of February 23, under the organization of the Nursing Department of Zhuzhou No. 2 Hospital, Tan Shuibo, Deputy Director of the Nursing Department, conducted special training on the application of various nursing risk assessment scales to the nurses in the hospital in three batches.
This training includes: Pressure Ulcer Assessment Form for Inpatients, Deep Vein Thrombosis VTE Assessment Form, and Catheter Dislodgement Prevention Score Scale, fall/fall assessment form, self-care ability assessment scale, inpatient pain assessment form and other scoring instructions, form filling instructions, and nursing preventive measures. The training content focuses on the introduction of the definition of risk, the interpretation of the assessment content, the timing and frequency of assessment, the classification of risk levels and the corresponding nursing measures in detail, and the misunderstandings and unclear judgments in clinical practice are analyzed and unified. .
Tan Shuibo interpreted each assessment scale and combined with the demonstration cases to ensure that the assessment of the patient’s condition was objective, the measures were standardized, the high-risk patients were identified in time, and effective measures were taken to prevent the occurrence of adverse events. Effectively improve the quality and safety of nursing; and share common clinical evaluation misunderstandings, explain the evaluation method in combination with the case site, and point out that accurate evaluation is the goal pursued by nursing staff when choosing accurate evaluation tools. The nurses who participated in the training were attentive, listened carefully and answered the questions about the assessment scale enthusiastically.
