It spilled over to Weicheng District, Weifang City, Zouping City, Binzhou City, and Mengyin County, Linyi City. The epidemic is still developing, and the risk of community transmission still exists.
Dezhou City has 57 confirmed cases and 3 asymptomatic infections. A chain of transmission was mainly found. Although the cases were distributed in Yucheng City, Dezhou In Heping County, the cases were mainly workers and close contacts of a certain enterprise, and the epidemic spilled over to Liaocheng City.
There are 38 confirmed cases and 36 asymptomatic infections in Binzhou. There are both imported cases from outside the province and spillover cases from the province. The epidemic situation is more complicated, involving 5 districts and counties. At present, 4 transmission chains have been found, one is imported from outside the province, and 3 are local transmission chains, which are being further traced.
There are 8 local confirmed cases and 11 local asymptomatic infections in Yantai City. Three transmission chains were found, one was related to the outbreak in Laixi, and the other case in Zhifu District were all workers in the closed-loop management of the container terminal. A local transmission chain is being traced to the source.
Weifang has 8 local confirmed cases and 23 local asymptomatic infections. Two chains were found, one was related to Zhoucun, and the cases involved multiple places, including supermarkets and commercial streets, and the other was an imported epidemic from outside the province.
The viral genome sequences of the Qingdao and Yantai cases coexisted with the Omicron BA.1.1 clade and the Omicron BA.2 clade. The virus genome sequences of Weihai, Zibo, Binzhou, Dezhou, Weifang, Rizhao, and Liaocheng cases belonged to the Omicron BA.2 evolutionary branch.
At present, the situation of the new crown epidemic in our province is generally controllable, and the prevention and control situation in some areas continues to improve. No positive infected person was detected in the prevention area of Laixi City, Qingdao for 3 consecutive days, and the social situation has been initially cleared. Since the epidemic strains of this epidemic are mainly Omicron variant strains, the symptoms of the cases are not typical, and it is easy to cause hidden transmission, which is difficult to find, difficult to find the source of infection, and there are multiple transmission chains.
