On February 24, Xuanwei First People’s Hospital organized experts to Hexiang carried out the activity of sending doctors to the countryside, and doctors from Shuanghe Township Health Center and village doctors from 10 village committees in the township participated in the training. Experts from the first hospital of the city described the knowledge of stroke rescue from three aspects: how to identify ischemic stroke early, reveal the secret of stroke rescue neuron, and stroke health management.
Shuanghe Township is located in the north of Xuanwei, deep in Wumeng Mountain, with high mountains and deep valleys, inconvenient transportation and lack of medical resources. Many patients with sudden diseases such as stroke and myocardial infarction are limited by traffic factors and miss the opportunity for rescue. This training will help rural medical and health forces to improve their ability to deal with stroke, and bring more chances of survival and better prognosis for patients.
