The reporter learned that among the first batch of 9 cured patients, the oldest is 82 years old (2 in total) and the youngest is 19 years old. Among them, 3 cases were mild and 6 cases were common.
One of the discharged patients said in an interview with reporters: “I feel that my body is recovering very well. During the hospitalization period, I received meticulous care from the medical staff. I am especially grateful to them.”
“After I was discharged from the hospital, I most wanted to have a hot pot meal,” said the patient.
Sun Dejun, head of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s New Coronary Pneumonia Medical Treatment Expert Team, said that with the full efforts of all medical staff, today’s 9 patients met the discharge criteria and were allowed to be discharged.
“Their discharge marks a preliminary victory in the medical treatment work in Inner Mongolia during this round of the epidemic,” said Sun Dejun.
It is reported that the cured patients will be transferred to a designated rehabilitation hospital in a closed loop for a 14-day health quarantine observation. (End)
