The press conference reported that on the afternoon of March 1, Yao Moumou, a Handan patient who was treated at Qinghe County Central Hospital in Xingtai City, was sent by his son-in-law to the emergency department of the West District of Handan Central Hospital for treatment and was admitted to the hospital. The routine nucleic acid test was initially positive, and then re-examined by the Handan CDC and Handan Central Hospital. The double-tube nasopharyngeal swab parallel test was positive, the anal swab test was negative, and the CT examination was normal. On March 2, the provincial and municipal expert groups were diagnosed with mild new coronary pneumonia, and then 120 negative pressure ambulances were arranged to be transferred to the designated hospital Handan Central Hospital and Heping District for isolation and treatment. The case is currently in stable condition.
After the case was discovered, Handan City immediately activated the emergency response mechanism, carried out scientific diagnosis and treatment of patients, and made every effort to carry out work such as epidemiological traceability, nucleic acid screening, transfer isolation, regional sealing and control, disinfection and sterilization. Control measures have been implemented for 40 close contacts in Handan, 96 secondary contacts, and 339 key risk personnel who were initially transferred out. According to the relevant regulations of epidemic prevention and control, a total of 22,598 people in the city were sealed and controlled, and the first round of nucleic acid test results were all negative.
