On the afternoon of March 23, the 2022 Gastrointestinal Cancer Physician Mutual Growth Plan, hosted by the National Cancer Center and undertaken by Shandong Cancer Center and Tai’an Cancer Center – Mirror World China Star Project Healthy Sustainable Collaborative Development Forum was online convened. Tai’an Cancer Center shared experience at the meeting. The meeting invited Professor Wang Guiqi from National Cancer Center and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Professor Jing Hongbiao from Shandong Cancer Center and Shandong Cancer Hospital as comment experts. Professor Gong Jiyong, Deputy Director of the Office of Shandong Cancer Center, gave a lecture on “Promoting the Construction of Cancer Center System and Helping High-quality Development of Early Diagnosis and Treatment”. In 2021, the construction of the cancer center in our province and the completion of the project work were summarized, and the next step was also deployed, and new requirements were put forward.
Professor Li Jie from Taian Cancer Center and Tai’an Cancer Prevention and Treatment Institute gave a lecture on “Relying on Organizations, Mobilizing Experts, Going Deep into the Grass-roots Level, and Taking Multiple Measures to Do It Together– The project is based on the experience sharing of comprehensively carrying out the work of early diagnosis and early treatment of cancer, from the work perception of the project of early diagnosis and early treatment of upper gastrointestinal cancer and the significance of the project; the talents, equipment, new technologies and new projects brought by the project to the unit Experience sharing was carried out on the update of the project and the comprehensive implementation of early diagnosis and treatment of cancer based on the project.
Gao Weiwei, deputy director of the Endoscopy Department and Zhao Yun, deputy director of the Department of Pathology, Tai’an Cancer Center, respectively The sharing of “Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment Promotes the Growth of Physicians and Department Construction” and “Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment, Accompanying Me to Grow – The Growth History of the Pathology Department of Tai’an Cancer Prevention and Treatment Hospital”. Through their own perception of the project, and the psychological journey of their own and the department’s growth and progress in the process of project development, they shared their experience.
Taian’s county and city cancer centers and early diagnosis and early treatment project units and the national early diagnosis and early treatment project undertaking units listened to the meeting online through the National Cancer Center’s Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment APP. The participants said that they have clarified their ideas and found gaps through study, which have benefited a lot from future work.
