Chongqing New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Press Conference (102nd) (15th) was held on the 15th, Li Pan, deputy director of the Municipal Health Commission, introduced that from 0:00 to 20:00 on March 15, our city will 7 new local confirmed cases (5 in Chongqing High-tech Zone, 1 in Yubei District, 1 in Yongchuan District), and 2 new asymptomatic infections (both in Yongchuan District). Since the outbreak of this round of local epidemics, a total of 31 local confirmed cases and 7 local asymptomatic infections have been reported, involving Chongqing High-tech Zone, Yubei District, Banan District, and Yongchuan District.
All patients have received isolation treatment or isolation medical observation at the Municipal Public Health Medical Treatment Center, and their condition is generally stable. At present, a cluster of new coronary pneumonia epidemics has occurred in many parts of the country, and a few districts and counties in our city have also reported local confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections one after another. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have attached great importance to it. The main leaders have held several meetings of the Municipal Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control and Headquarters Scheduling Meetings to analyze and judge the current epidemic situation and deploy and promote epidemic prevention and control.
