Mu Shanyong said that the main epidemic strain of this epidemic is the Omicron variant, which has the characteristics of many transmission points, wide area and frequent occurrence. Prevention and control, the growth rate of cases has slowed down significantly recently. As of 24:00 on March 26, there were 710 local confirmed cases in the province, including 642 mild cases, 66 ordinary cases, 2 severe cases, and no critical cases. Among the confirmed cases, mild cases are the main ones, accounting for more than 90.42%, common cases account for 9.3%, and severe cases account for 0.28%.

Shandong Health and Health Commission made overall planning and coordination, adopted a method of classified treatment, and centralized treatment of patients with common, severe, critical and high risk factors (such as older age and underlying diseases). In designated hospitals with relatively strong comprehensive capabilities, light cases are admitted to other designated hospitals or makeshift hospitals. For critically ill patients, experts, resources, and all-out treatment were concentrated. Provincial-level experts from the Department of Respiratory Medicine, the Department of Critical Care Medicine, and the Department of Psychological Medicine were dispatched to designated hospitals. For the elderly with underlying diseases, provincial-level experts will be dispatched to strengthen the treatment force to maximize the treatment effect.
