According to reports, the project is located in the south of Keqiao Fangshan Avenue, north of Chuangyi Road, west of Kechuang Road and east of Yucai Road. It is one of the important projects in Keqiao’s future city sector. The total investment is about 6.5 billion yuan, the total planned land area is 358 mu, and the planned total construction area is 500,000 square meters. The main functional blocks include clinical medical treatment, medical research, clinical teaching, and four major parts of the World Medical Museum. Among them, the clinical medical block is constructed according to the standard of a large-scale general hospital of Grade 3A, with 1,500 beds planned. After it is completed and put into operation, it will implement integrated management with provincial hospitals. Connectivity in all aspects has driven the overall improvement of the medical service level of the “Golden South Wing” in Hangzhou Bay.
In addition, medical research will build a high-level clinical research incubation base and an industry-university-research transformation base, and clinical teaching will build a world-class physician training base and clinical simulation center with postgraduates as the main training objects. The museum will excavate, salvage, and protect the material evidence and historical materials in the development of the world’s medical history according to the planning of a full range of medical themed museums, and build it into an innovative platform for the world’s top medical humanities training, medical science education, national health literacy training and medical industry exchanges. .
It is reported that there are currently 3 high-level provincial hospitals in Shaoxing campus under construction in our city, in addition to Keqiao Future Medical Center, there is also the Shaoxing campus of Shao Run Run Run Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Phase I. The project is under construction and is planned to be completed and put into use in 2024, and the Shaoxing branch of the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Zhejiang Cancer Hospital) has completed land allocation and is scheduled to be completed within 5 years. At the same time, with the new construction of municipal hospitals such as the New Shaoxing People’s Hospital, the Shaoxing Second Hospital Lanting Campus (rehabilitation hospital), and the New Shaoxing Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the medical level of Shaoxing will be greatly improved.
