There were 14 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, including 13 in Jinan and 1 in Zaozhuang. 1 new imported confirmed case, in Qingdao, imported from Germany. 1 new case of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad, in Jinan, imported from South Korea. From 0:00 to 24:00 on May 4, 2022, the province reported asymptomatic infections turned into confirmed cases. From 0:00 to 24:00 on May 4, 2022, 2 local confirmed cases in the province were discharged, including 1 in Jinan and 1 in Binzhou. 34 cases of local asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 11 in Yantai, 10 in Jinan, 10 in Binzhou, and 3 in Linyi. No confirmed cases imported from abroad have been discharged from hospital in the province. No overseas imported asymptomatic infections are released from medical observation. As of 24:00 on May 4, 2022, there are 66 local confirmed cases and 587 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province currently has 4 confirmed cases imported from abroad and 6 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad.
