Shaanxi added 4 local confirmed cases on May 23, in Xi’an

The Shaanxi Health and Health Commission informed that from 0-24:00 on May 23, 4 new local confirmed cases were reported, all in Xi’an.

As of 24:00 on May 23, there are currently 6 cases under isolation and treatment in the hospital (5 cases in Xi’an and 1 case in Ankang).

Local confirmed case 1, male, 38 years old, reported by Xi’an. Returned from other provinces in the same car as the local confirmed case released on May 22. During the centralized isolation period, the nucleic acid test result was positive. On May 23, the city-level expert group diagnosed a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (common type).

Local confirmed case 2, male, 30 years old, reported by Xi’an City. Returned from other provinces in the same car as the local confirmed case released on May 22, and the nucleic acid test result was positive during the centralized isolation period. On May 23, the city-level expert group diagnosed a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light).

Local confirmed case 3, male, 26 years old, reported by Xi’an City. Returned from other provinces in the same car as the local confirmed case released on May 22, and the nucleic acid test result was positive during the centralized isolation period. On May 23, the city-level expert group diagnosed a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light).

Local confirmed case 4, male, 49 years old, reported by Xi’an City. Returned from other provinces in the same car as the local confirmed case released on May 22, and the nucleic acid test result was positive during the centralized isolation period. On May 23, the city-level expert group diagnosed a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light).

The above confirmed cases are all isolated and treated in designated medical institutions. The specific activity track and work situation will be released by Xi’an City.

From 0 to 24:00 on May 23, there were no new reports of confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infections imported from abroad.
