Pu’er River City: It’s time for special wild vegetables

Recently, I walked into the farmer’s market in Jiangcheng County, Pu’er City, and I was greeted with green eyes. Bracken, mangosteen shoots, wild celery, thorn yam, and pear blossoms… a variety of wild vegetables are favored by the public. Although the price of wild vegetables is slightly higher than that of ordinary planted vegetables, most citizens are still willing to accept them.

The citizens who came to buy vegetables introduced: “The wild vegetables in Jiangcheng are pure natural and pollution-free. Not only local people in Jiangcheng like to eat them, but also foreigners.”

Warm reminder: When eating wild vegetables, be careful not to eat unfamiliar or unfamiliar wild vegetables. Before eating wild vegetables, it is best to wash them with clean water, and then blanch them in hot water to remove excess oxalic acid and plant acid in the wild vegetables. In addition, do not mix multiple varieties of wild vegetables to eat. If you feel unwell after eating wild vegetables, you should go to the hospital immediately.
