Ocean Network News From 0-24:00 on March 22, 15 new local confirmed cases were reported in the province (one of which was an asymptomatic infection transferred to a confirmed case), 13 cases were reported in Shenzhen, and 13 cases were reported in Dongguan. 1 case was reported, and 1 case was reported in Zhongshan. There were 12 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, 5 cases were reported in Shenzhen, and 7 cases were reported in Dongguan.
8 newly imported confirmed cases in the province, 4 in Guangzhou, 2 from the UK, and the remaining 2 from Qatar and Solomon Islands; Shenzhen reported 3 cases and Zhuhai reported 1 case, all from Hong Kong, China. 37 new cases of asymptomatic infections were imported from abroad, 9 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 5 cases were from Nigeria, 2 cases were from Solomon Islands, and the remaining 2 cases were from South Korea and Bangladesh respectively; Foshan reported 1 case, from Ukraine; Shenzhen reported 18 cases, Zhuhai reported 4 cases and Zhongshan reported 5 cases, all from Hong Kong, China. 69 new cases were discharged from hospital, and 1123 cases are currently in hospital.
As of 24:00 on March 22, a total of 12,282 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (7,694 imported from abroad) have been reported in the province, including confirmed cases 6,484 cases (3,678 imported from abroad) and 5,798 asymptomatic infections (4,016 imported from abroad).
