Recently, Dezhou City held the “Stroke Final 60 Minutes” competition. A total of 6 stroke teams participated in the city. The stroke team of Ningjin County People’s Hospital won the first prize. and will represent Dezhou in the provincial competition.
During the competition, in the diagnosis of acute cerebral stroke, the attending physician Wang Xiaofei had clear thinking, clear layers, accurate positioning and qualitative diagnosis; The attending physician Zheng Xuezhong showed excellent communication skills, and the explanation was vivid and concise, and the key points were highlighted; in the patient’s thrombolysis nursing service, the nurse Zhang Xuejuan explained in detail and comprehensively, and the process was reasonable. The overall performance of the team was highly praised by the on-site judges and finally achieved good results.
The Stroke Center of Ningjin County People’s Hospital was established in 2002. It consists of neurology, emergency department, intensive care medicine, imaging department, laboratory department and other disciplines. The center implements “treatment first and payment later”. With the joint efforts of the stroke team, the time from admission to the start of thrombolysis for stroke patients has been reduced from 110 minutes to 20 minutes now, greatly reducing the mortality and disability rates. In 2018, the center was rated as the city’s stroke prevention and control center unit by the Dezhou Municipal Health and Health Commission, and was selected as the first batch of stroke emergency maps in Dezhou City. In 2019, it was awarded the national “Demonstration Stroke Prevention and Treatment Center”. The Office of the National Brain Prevention Committee ranks the national comprehensive stroke prevention and control centers every month according to the development of appropriate technologies and data docking. The center treats more than 4,000 cerebrovascular patients every year, conducts more than 300 cases of acute cerebral infarction with intravenous thrombolysis, and more than 500 cases of cerebral angiography and interventional therapy, giving countless stroke patients a “second life”.
