National Health Commission: Scientifically formulate nucleic acid screening strategies to avoid blind expansion

CCTV News:Focus on normalized epidemic prevention and control. In recent days, the overall epidemic situation across the country has remained stable, but local clusters of epidemics have occurred in individual border port cities, and the epidemic prevention and control situation is still severe and complicated. The State Council’s joint prevention and control mechanism held a press conference on June 9. The relevant person in charge of the National Health and Health Commission said: It is necessary to scientifically formulate nucleic acid screening strategies to avoid blindly expanding the scope of screening for all employees.

He Qinghua, a first-level inspector of the National Health Commission’s Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention: The nucleic acid test will be carried out in order from high to low for the people to be inspected. The first nucleic acid screening should be completed within 24 hours in the sealed and controlled area, and the first nucleic acid screening of all employees in the control area should be completed within 48 hours. People in medium- and high-risk areas, closed and controlled areas, and control areas are not allowed to go out. However, if people in low-risk areas and prevention areas where the epidemic occurred, they really need to travel, they need to hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Adjustment is required. Then there is another area, where there is no epidemic and no import risk, nucleic acid inspection should not become the norm.

He Qinghua said that at present, the domestic epidemic situation is generally maintained at a low level. In this case, the key is to improve the sensitivity of the monitoring system to ensure early detection and early disposal of the epidemic. There is no need for frequent nucleic acid testing in low-risk areas, low-risk groups, and long-term home populations. Nucleic acid testing focuses on high-risk groups and workers in high-risk positions, as well as areas with outbreaks.

He Qinghua, first-level inspector of the National Health Commission’s Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention: For regions, units and individuals who make decisions that take illegal and coercive measures, the State Council’s joint prevention and control mechanism will require relevant localities be corrected in a timely manner.
