Mutual recognition of hospital examination results still needs to pass three levels

Recently, the National Health and Health Commission and other departments jointly issued the “Administrative Measures for the Mutual Recognition of Inspection and Test Results of Medical Institutions”, clarifying that medical institutions should carry out mutual recognition of inspection and test results in accordance with relevant principles Work. The measure came into effect on March 1 this year. This means that in the past, every time a hospital was changed, the problem that had greatly troubled patients, which had to be repeated every time, would be solved. (Xiaoxiang Morning News, February 28)

Patients have been suffering from repeated examinations for a long time. From March 1, the “mutual recognition of examination results in hospitals” is really good news. Mutual recognition of test results can not only avoid the unreasonable “shrinking” of the patient’s “purse”, but also help save the patient’s time for medical treatment. However, there are still three levels to pass before the inspection results are “on the ground”.

First pass the technical level. Needless to say, there are obvious gaps between “small hospitals” and “large hospitals” in terms of doctors’ skills, diagnostic experience, and equipment configuration. Doctors in tertiary hospitals are not convinced by the inspection results of ordinary hospitals, and then ask for re-examination. We often encounter cases when we seek medical treatment. In reality, there have also been cases where the two hospitals had missed diagnoses due to mutual recognition of the test results and thus went to court. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the inspection level of “small hospitals” as soon as possible by strengthening training, doctor rotation, technical exchanges and other measures.

Secondly, we must pass the profit threshold. At present, various hospitals are equipped with inspection and testing equipment of different scales, some of which are expensive to purchase. Mutual recognition of inspection results means that an inspection can only be done once, which will inevitably lead to a significant reduction in the utilization rate of many equipment, which in turn affects the overall efficiency of the hospital. The news of hospitals such as “the operating room is full of money” and “the medical business is booming” that have been seen in the media before shows that although the hospital has a public welfare nature, it cannot ignore the cost-benefit calculation. Therefore, how to avoid the urge to repeat inspections by some hospitals and doctors requires relevant departments to think.

Finally, we have to pass the knowledge level. Mutual recognition of test results is a boon for patients, but this is only for unnecessary tests not to be repeated, not all tests are “one size fits all” and only done once. Patients should have a correct understanding of this. For those conditions that may have repeated or rapid changes in a short period of time, the multiple inspections should still be inspected. Now some doctors have begun to worry about what to do if they encounter the “top cow” patient with “mutual recognition of test results” when they need to check the patient multiple times? Therefore, cooperate with the hospital, trust the doctor, and all of us have to pass the acquaintance.

Do one thing and win the hearts of all people. The mutual recognition of inspection and test results in the hospital reflects the determination of relevant departments to resolve “difficulty in seeing a doctor” and “expensiveness in seeing a doctor”, and has also won the “angry praise” and expectations of the masses. Under this circumstance, taking the “technical”, “interests” and “knowledge” as the breakthrough points, the mutual recognition of inspection and test results will be further improved and confirmed, and a solid foundation will be laid for the national mutual recognition of hospital inspection and test results, which is great!
