The elderly with underlying diseases such as hypertension and diabetes are recommended to be vaccinated during the stable period of the disease. According to Zhang Li, the “Technical Guidelines for New Coronary Virus Vaccination (First Edition)” issued by the National Health and Health Commission clearly stipulates that chronically ill people are those who are seriously ill and at high risk of death after contracting the new coronavirus. People with chronic diseases with stable health status and good drug control are not considered as contraindications to the new coronavirus vaccination, and it is recommended to be vaccinated.
