In order to provide patients with a better medical environment and make the hospital sustainable development, under the vigorous promotion of Guilin Medical College and its affiliated hospitals, the Lidong New Campus Project came into being and was approved by the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission. , the Autonomous Region Health and Health Commission, the Guilin Municipal Party Committee, and the municipal government with strong support. In July 2017, the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region approved the construction of the Lidong New Campus; in February 2019, the Lidong New Campus was listed as a major project to be promoted at the autonomous region level; on December 12, 2020, the Lidong New Campus started construction foundation.
