It is reported that the Santaipu Village Committee of Lingquan Street has been planting marigolds for 10 years. This year, the marigold planting area has reached 18,000 mu, benefiting more than 800 farmers, and the total income of farmers is expected to reach more than 40 million yuan.

Village Yang Kaiming’s family planted 40 mu of marigolds, and when he talked about the harvest, the corners of his mouth rose: “This year’s marigolds have big flowers, so far, a bunch of flowers have been picked and sold for more than 10,000 yuan. It is estimated that After all picking, the income can be increased by more than 70,000 yuan.”

The picked flowers will be transported to the old Deng’er marigold purchase point of the Santaipu Village Committee. Since the opening on July 11, the purchase point has purchased more than 1,000 tons of flowers.
