Zhuo Xiuli, the head nurse of the Department of Anesthesiology and Surgery, gave a lecture, and the N1 nurses in the whole hospital participated in the training.
“Communication is a knowledge and an art.” Based on the psychological characteristics of young medical staff, Zhang Min explained the concepts related to the doctor-patient relationship in depth from different perspectives of patients and medical staff. The importance of communication and the disputes between doctors and patients caused by inappropriate words were deeply analyzed. Focusing on the example of doctor-patient communication, it was proposed that in daily work, we should have a tolerant and caring heart for patients, and treat others well as well as ourselves. Zhuo Xiuli led everyone to learn from the occupational specificity of medical staff, common occupational exposure and prevention, and treatment after occupational exposure, focusing on the challenges faced by medical staff, the causes of needle stick injuries and accidental sharp instrument injuries, sharp The treatment and basic protection, standard precautions, etc. after accidental device injury are described in detail. Based on their years of clinical management experience, the two head nurses cited examples and explained the profound things in a simple way. The participants expressed that they were deeply inspired and benefited a lot.
Nursing development is inseparable from the efforts of every nurse. This training has little impact on improvement. Senior nursing staff’s communication skills, prevention and reduction of medical disputes and occupational protection have played an active role in promoting, laying a solid foundation for building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, improving patient satisfaction, and improving service levels.
