On March 17, the Jilin Provincial Government held the 38th press conference on the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia, introducing the latest progress in the prevention and control of the epidemic .
According to Yang Junling, deputy director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at the Second Hospital of Jilin University, the current diagnosis and treatment plan adopted by Jilin Province was issued by the National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on March 15. The Diagnosis and Treatment Plan for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (Trial Ninth Edition Revised Edition). At present, nearly 95% of the cases in Jilin Province are asymptomatic and mild. The ninth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan cancels the diagnosis of asymptomatic infections. In terms of treatment, for mild cases and asymptomatic infections, only centralized isolation management and observation are required, and no treatment in designated hospitals is required. Discharged patients no longer need to be quarantined for 14 days, and only need to be monitored for 7 days at home. Combined with the actual situation in Jilin Province, for mild cases, centralized isolation management or centralized management in designated hospitals are mainly adopted. For ordinary, severe and critical cases, centralized treatment is mainly in designated hospitals, especially for severe and critical cases. At the same time, we also pay close attention to mild and common cases that have transformed into severe cases to prevent and reduce the risk of their transformation into severe cases. At the same time, we also implement individualized treatment plans, one person, one case, and take corresponding treatment measures for patients with underlying diseases. For severe and critically ill patients, we provide rescue treatment. After treatment, the patients can be transferred to ordinary or mild ones, and they can also be transferred back to designated hospitals for centralized isolation.
