Today (March 16), the Jilin Provincial Government held the 37th press conference on epidemic prevention and control to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control. According to Zhang Li, deputy director of the Jilin Provincial Health Commission, from 0 to 24:00 on March 15, 1,456 new confirmed cases were reported in the province, including 1,044 in Changchun, 393 in Jilin, 7 in Yanbian, and 11 in Siping. There is 1 case in Baicheng City and 397 asymptomatic infections, including 376 cases in Jilin City, 3 cases in Changchun City, 1 case in Yanbian Prefecture, 16 cases in Siping City, and 1 case in Songyuan City. Among them, from 9 to 24:00 on March 15, there were 1,139 new local confirmed cases in the province, including 1,124 mild cases, 13 ordinary cases, and 2 severe cases. Among them, there were 929 cases in Changchun City, including 3 asymptomatic infections, 192 cases in Jilin City, including 18 asymptomatic infections, 11 cases in Siping City, 6 cases in Yanbian Prefecture, and 1 case in Baicheng City. There are 370 local asymptomatic infections, including 350 in Jilin City, 16 in Siping City, 3 in Changchun City, and 1 in Songyuan City. In addition to 1 patient in Yanbian Prefecture, 23 people will be eligible for discharge procedures today.
