On the afternoon of March 17, Jilin City held the seventh press conference on epidemic prevention and control to report the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control. From 0 to 24:00 on March 16, 455 new local confirmed cases were reported in Jilin City (including 10 asymptomatic infections turned into confirmed cases). 400 new cases of local asymptomatic infections were added. All the above infected persons have been transferred to designated medical institutions for isolation and treatment. As of 8:00 on March 17, Jilin City had accumulated 21.784 million nucleic acid samples.
At 10:00 on March 17, the new three rounds of nucleic acid testing have been launched. At present, a total of 1.792 million antigen detection reagents have been allocated by the province, and 1.112 million reagents have been distributed to key large, medium and small schools, key enterprises, counties (cities), districts, development zones and other key populations. In the near future, reagents will arrive one after another.
