It’s important to take the time to sleep!

Spring is here, and so is the unstoppable sleepiness. Do you know? Sleeping also requires timing.

Sleep at noon time

Midday means from 11:00 pm to the next morning 1 am, noon means 11 am to 1 pm. Chinese medicine believes that midnight and noon are the most suitable times of the day for sleep, which can quickly help the human body repair damage, recharge energy, and achieve the best state.

“The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine” mentions: “When the yang qi is exhausted, the person lies down, and when the yin qi is exhausted, the yin and yang are exhausted.” The yin qi is the heaviest at midday, and the yang qi is the most prosperous at noon.

Comply with the running rules of the meridians

There are different meridians “on duty” at every hour, following the rules of the running of the meridians, sleep will be more efficient.

The gallbladder meridian is “on duty” when the child is on duty. When the child rests, the bile can be metabolized normally, and the function of the gallbladder is normal, and the brain’s decision-making power is enhanced. The heart meridian is “on duty” at noon, resting at noon and nourishing the heart yang, the person will have a rosy and lustrous complexion, and the pulse will be gentle and strong.

Missing the two golden sleep hours of midnight and noon will deplete both yin and yang qi, causing people to have symptoms such as yellow complexion, rough skin, long spots, and white hair.

Need to distinguish between big sleep and nap

Specifically, to do big sleep , take a nap at noon.

It’s best to sleep for 2 hours, from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day. You can prepare to fall asleep half an hour before the arrival of midnight, so that you can fall asleep around 11:00 pm, and sleep until 6:00 to 7:00 am for the best sleep effect.

Taking a nap in the afternoon is the most beneficial for Yang Yang, as long as you sleep for 10 to 30 minutes, you can maintain a full afternoon of energy.

Choosing a time to fall asleep can significantly improve sleep quality, but it cannot solve existing sleep problems. If you have symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, and difficulty falling asleep for a long time, you can go to the hospital for professional medical help.
