About cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine

Tell the truth-

About cervical cancer, we would like to say:

1. More than 80% of women will be exposed to HPV virus at some point in their lives. Persistent infection of high-risk HPV is a necessary condition for cervical cancer.

2. Fortunately, cervical cancer is the only cancer with a definite cause that can be prevented or even eliminated. WHO believes that all women between 9 and 45 should be vaccinated against HPV. Vaccination before the start of sexual life has the greatest benefit. The highest priority is for girls aged 9 to 14; the second priority is for young women aged 15 to 25;< strong>Vaccination can benefit even with sex.

3, bivalent, quadrivalent and 9-valent HPV types can be prevented, but they can prevent at least 2 high-risk types – HPV16 and HPV18, These two types cause more than 84.5% of cervical squamous cell carcinomas and can prevent the vast majority of cervical cancers.

4. Even if you have the HPV vaccine, it is recommended to go for regular cervical cancer screening to ensure that nothing goes wrong.

5. Cervical cancer prevention is greater than treatment, HPV vaccination, regular cervical cancer screening, and standardized treatment after diagnosis of cervical cancer, all women should do these 3 things It will eventually eliminate cervical cancer.

6. Cervical cancer is the first type of cancer that 194 countries around the world, including China, have pledged to eliminate through resolutions. Achieving this goal requires the efforts of everyone – everyone is responsible for their own health, and cervical cancer can be prevented or even eliminated.
