Hunan: The integration of medical treatment and prevention promotes health management for the benefit of the people

The reporter recently learned from the Hunan Provincial Health and Health Commission that Hunan Province focuses on the prevention and treatment of major chronic diseases, implements the integration of medical treatment and prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, and opens specialized chronic disease clinics at the grassroots level. Primary medical and health institutions have built more than 2,000 outpatient clinics for hypertension, established more than 20,000 blood pressure monitoring points in village clinics, and established 1,000 blood sugar monitoring points in village clinics.
