Bad breath, embarrassing
I usually don’t smell it myself
However, “outlet hurts” without knowing it
Friends who want to know how to deal with bad breath right away
See Section 03 directly
Let’s talk about a small self-test method, it’s very easy to operate:
Find an unscented spoon, stick out your tongue as much as you can, then gently scrape the back of your tongue (near the throat) to smell the dry residue[1]
Most people smell like rotten eggs[2].
It also has a sour and rotten taste, which may be caused by gastrointestinal indigestion[3].
Of course, don’t panic first.
According to statistics, about 25% of people who visit a doctor for bad breath do not have bad breath. In layman’s terms, it is not halitosis, but a phobia of halitosis [4].
Actually, 1 in 4 people around you have bad breath.
In China, the prevalence of halitosis is 27.5%[5].
Seeing this, do you feel relieved, many people are with you!
80%-90% of bad breath is actually caused by oral diseases[6], this is an early warning sign, you should pay attention!
We have 700 species of bacteria in our mouth, most of which are friendly, of course, but there are also pathogenic species, such as gram-negative anaerobes.
When food debris is left between your teeth, it can provide the conditions for their reproduction.
There is something to eat and drink, um! It’s hidden here!
Bacteria live happily ever after, and your teeth can’t handle it.
From the initial caries to the destruction of the gum tissue, the odor comes out [7].
1
Dental health care should be in place
Brush your teeth twice a day for 3 minutes each time.
Position should be correct. Pasteur brushing is recommended.
Floss after meals, and at least rinse mouth with lukewarm water after meals.
Clean your teeth regularly to remove tartar.
Reminder:
Mouthwash is not recommended to be used frequently to avoid disrupting the balance of flora.
Severe bad breath requires the use of a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine under the guidance of a doctor.
2
Drink more water, less coffee, preferably no alcohol
Drinking more water will help the salivary glands to secrete more saliva, which has a flushing effect on the mouth.
A dry environment reduces the ability to wash out plaque.
Coffee and alcohol can dry out the mouth.
3
Halitosis caused by related diseases requires symptomatic treatment
Some bad breath is associated with chronic tonsillitis, stones, sinusitis, etc.;
Some are caused by gastrointestinal problems.
When bad breath is discovered, go to the hospital to investigate the cause.
Zhimei hopes that you will listen to the doctor’s advice and take treatment seriously.
Finally, my sister reminds everyone that before important appointments
Don’t eat garlic, onions, leeks, etc.
Food with a pungent taste
If you eat it
You can use mouth spray and chew gum
