Did you encounter a difficult or thrilling situation in your daily work, and how did you deal with it?

It was a young male patient who was stabbed by a knife after drinking, injuring the left anterior chest and the right chest wall. After admission, the chest CT showed “massive hemothorax on the left; massive pericardial effusion on the left”.
The patient presented with “drowsiness and chills” after entering the operating room. Physical examination “heart rate 110 beats/min, blood pressure 80/40 mmHg, pulse blood Oxygen saturation was 75%”, and a 2 cm wide wound on the fourth intercostal space on the left anterior chest and a 2 cm wide wound on the right lower chest were visible to the naked eye. The duty group immediately opened two peripheral venous infusions, actively warmed the patients, monitored invasive blood pressure with radial artery puncture under local anesthesia, punctured the right internal jugular vein, and placed gastric tube suction to prevent reflux and aspiration.
The on-duty team applied for suspended red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma and cryoprecipitate, and prepared an autologous blood recovery device .
