Wang Dawei, deputy director of the Hohhot Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that at present, the above-mentioned confirmed cases are all receiving isolation treatment in designated hospitals (the Fourth Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region). After expert consultation, 91 cases were common type, 179 cases were mild type, 5 cases were severe type, 2 cases were critical type, and there were no deaths.

As of 6:00 on February 24, a total of 10,050 close contacts and 5,052 secondary close contacts have been identified in this round of epidemic in Hohhot.

According to the deployment of the city’s Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, the seventh round of nucleic acid testing will continue from 7:00 on February 25, and the centralized sampling time will end at 14:00 on February 25.

“From the perspective of nucleic acid testing and screening, there have been cases of social sporadic cases in recent rounds, indicating that there are still infected patients circulating in the society.” Wang Dawei said at the press conference.
